We are looking for an experienced Senior Dynamics NAV Specialist to play a key role in optimising our newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth expertise in Dynamics NAV/Business Central, an analytical approach and the ability to enhance our system to best support the strategic needs of the organisation.
Your tasks
- Identifying optimisation potential and updating the Business Central system
- Work closely with other departments to refine workflows, reduce errors and increase productivity
- Main point of contact for troubleshooting complex Business Central issues and resolving them quickly to ensure smooth system operation
- Assist in the creation of user manuals and training materials and conduct employee training sessions
- Monitor and control specific business requirements using AL (Application Language) programming, C/AL (legacy) and integration with third party applications, databases and legacy systems
- Improve reporting and analytics: create custom reports, dashboards and tools to provide better data insights for business decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams to understand their needs and propose system improvements that align with the organisation's objectives
Your professional profile
- At least 5 years of experience as a Dynamics NAV/Business Central Analyst or Specialist with extensive background in system customisation and support
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field and NAV Core Application and Development certifications
- In-depth knowledge of core Business Central modules, such as finance, inventory management, purchasing and sales, and hands-on experience in their customisation and optimisation
- Ability to recognise system inefficiencies and implement practical solutions
- Strong communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel
