You will lead network infrastructure projects across multiple countries to meet current EU security and compliance requirements. Your first project will focus on modernizing our network infrastructure to align with regulatory standards. This role requires a solid understanding of network technologies and compliance frameworks for critical infrastructure. Working closely with internal IT teams and external service providers, you'll ensure projects stay on track, on budget, and meet both technical and compliance standards. Other IT related projects will follow.
Your tasks
- Coordinate network infrastructure rollouts across multiple European locations
- Ensure implementations meet regulatory requirements and internal security standards
- Track project tasks, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools like JIRA/Confluence
- Monitor and report on project budget and resource utilization
- Plan maintenance windows in coordination with local teams to minimize operational disruption
- Perform quality control of completed implementations, verifying compliance with technical and regulatory specifications
- Maintain project documentation including compliance evidence and audit trails
- Liaise between technical teams, local IT contacts, and external vendors
Your professional profile
- Technical education (HTL, FH, or university degree in IT, Network Engineering, Business Informatics, or similar)
- 3+ years of experience in IT project management
- Solid understanding of network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, routers, VLANs, network segmentation)
- Experience with regulatory or compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIS2
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, or similar)
- Structured working style with attention to compliance documentation
- Excellent English skills (written and spoken); German/Italian is a plus
- Willingness to occasionally travel to project locations
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with network equipment (Cisco, HP/Aruba, Fortinet, or similar)
- Experience with multi-site IT rollouts in regulated environments
- PRINCE2, PMP, or similar certification
